1920-2004. James H. Thibaut graduated from Castle Heights Military Academy and earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering from LSU. He was president of Evans Hall Sugar Mill for over 40 yrs and was president of the American Sugar Cane League, 1971-73. Mr. Thibaut was president of the First National Bank of Donaldsonville and a founding member of the Riverdale Country Club. He managed numerous sugar cane farms during his career.
