He was a local businessman and community leader. Mr. LeBlanc owned Pay-Less Supermarkets in Gonzales and Paincourtville, two Lil’ Pal Quick Stop stores, radio station KKAY-FM in Donaldsonville, was on the board of Associated Grocers Inc. and of Blue Runner Foods Inc. in Gonzales, chairman of the newly formed United Community Bank in Gonzales, a member of the Ascension Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, the Jambalaya Festival Association, the Ascension Parish Tourist Commission, and LSU’s Alumni Hall of Distinction.
