Albert J. "A. J." Lousteau

A graduate of Jesuit High School and Loyola University, Mr. Lousteau founded Lousteau Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in Gonzales. In business there for 34 years, he expanded his business to include Lousteau Tractor. Winning 13 Distinguished Achievement Awards, he served as President of the Louisiana Automotive Dealers Association and Chairman of the Baton Rouge Better Business Bureau. He supplied new cars for the drivers education classes at the high school and sponsored the American Legion Baseball program for many years. Mr. Lousteau served on two Catholic Church building committees to fund a new rectory and a sanctuary. He is a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II and one of the founders of the Gonzales Country Club.
