Kaomoji is a popular Japanese emoticon style made up of Japanese characters and grammar punctuations, and are used to express emotion in texting and cyber communication. On Wednesday, September 4, join us at Ascension Parish Library in Gonzales at 4 PM and make your kaomoji ping pong balls. However, if crafting isn’t your thing, don’t worry. We’ll also have a Wii U available if you’d prefer to just play.
Kokusaika is Japanese for “internationalization,” and that’s what this club is all about. If you’re interested in cosplay, anime, manga, gaming, etc., then this Japanese cultural club for teens is for you! This program is open to all teens ages 12 through 18. Cosplay is welcome. For more information, please contact Ascension Parish Library in Gonzales at 647-3955.
